Pursuant to the City of Chula Vista Charter § 600 and Municipal Code Chapter 2.32, the Sustainability Commission is to provide citizens’ advice to the City Council in the areas of energy and water conservation, resource recovery, environmental sustainability, and other related fields as determined by the City Council.
