Allen Venerable for District 1 was speaking during the audio mishap.
Bernard Parker representing District 4 is currently speaking.
We will be listening to a few more of the Committee Members give their background and what is their goal for Reparations to help residents have healthier lives.
Gregory Hicks will be representing District 5 is currently speaking.
He wants people to understand that slavery was International. That has help build other countries.
Maurice Weeks will be representing District 6 is currently speaking.
Janis Hazel will be representing District 7 is currently speaking.
Anita Bell is Member At-Large. Is currently seeking President of United States of America through the green party.
Tom from Legislative Policy Division (LPD) is currently speaking.
Maurice is going over for the previous meeting. Including funding of 350,000. They are putting together sub-committees to help assist them. Having open-public meetings. They will be moving through out the city of Detroit for more accessibility.
Board Member wants to go over the Expectations for the Task Force to implement the Reparations.
Commenters is explaining how the Overtaxation was due to banks that overpriced Detroit homes.
Public Commenter: The City should pay the Detroit retirees for their pension being taken during the Bankruptcy.
A public commenter is asking for Lineage investigation to be done for Detroiters. To also exclude a DNA testing for residents.
Public Commenter said , ” The Detroit Police is the most dangerous police.”
The Public Commenter is explaining that due to Detroit school system being broken. She had to take her daughter to the Suburbs which she was subjected to racism.
She wants to know Wayne Metro can get these large contracts to help Detroit residents. While residents are not able to get through to the Wayne Metro.
Public Commenter : Is asking for Mental Health assistance before giving money to some Detroiters.
Public Commenter: is asking how to insure all Detroiters have access to clean and affordable water.
Is asking for the St.Paul Method to be help Detroit residents.

Board Member wants to Detroiters to know that there is a difference between Federal Reparations and Local Reparations.
Committee is discussing their meeting time that they will be best for them to have them.
District 1 had to leave this meeting. While voting on the next meeting being scheduled.
Jeffrey from District 2 will be hosting the next public meeting. Due to Allen from District 1 had to leave.
The next meeting will be on April 28,2023 at 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm in District 2.
